افتتحت العمل للأمل فرعها الجديد في عمّان، الأردن بحفل أقيم مساء الخميس ١٥ أيلول/ سبتمبر، وقد شرفت سموّ الأميرة ريم العلي الحفل بحضورها. شارك في الحفل الفنان المصري المعروف حازم شاهين مع مجموعة من خريجي مدرسة العمل للأمل للموسيقى وقدموا عدة مقطوعات وأغنيات من التراث الموسيقي.

As part of the “Mosul Traditional Music Festival” and within the #ReviveTheSpiritOfMosul initiative, a Jam Music session was held last night in one of the Heritage houses rehabilitated by @UNESCO in partnership with the #EU.

I think that is the first time, I ever cut a ribbon. A very special ribbon, opening the traditional music festival in #Mosul
and it still continues. and it is very special and beautiful and inspiring.
Mosul Traditional Music Festival from March 24 over 27 is dedicated to rich musical heritage of Mosul beside bands from Spain, France & Italy presenting different types of traditional music & songs, in a lively & festive atmosphere, first since 2003 (1)

It is the day to believe that music is an intl. language when 5 musical bands come to Mosul to revive the traditional music, alongside with locals ones to spread peace, music, and joyful moments in the city of Mosul.
This amazing traditional musician, Rababa instrument player from Mosul who is happy to revive Mosul's old folklore after falling of ISIS. It is the time to play louder and louder, this is real Mosul!
