خلال الأعوام الماضية انخرط كثير من الفنانين في مشاريع فنية لها علاقة بأوضاع اللاجئين العرب، على الأخص اللاجئين السوريين. اتخذت هذه العلاقة أشكالاً عديدة: التدريب والتعليم، إنتاج أعمال إبداعية، تقديم أعمال فنية داخل تجمعات اللاجئين، الخ. ما هي الأسئلة التي تطرحها تجربة هذه السنوات؟ على صعيد أكثر عمومية، شهدت الأعوام الماضية أيضاً مزيداً من اهتمام الفنانين بالعمل مع جماعات مهمشة، أو بربط عملهم بمبادرات اجتماعية أو سياسية، فما هي الدروس التي يمكن تعلمها من هذه التجارب؟

العمل الفني:
كيف ينعكس الانخراط في مثل هذه المشاريع على عملك الفني ومسيرتك كفنان؟ كيف تتوقع أن يؤثر هذا العمل على مستقبلك، سواء من ناحية أسلوبك الفني وأدواتك، أو من ناحية ذائقتك ومضامين أعمالك؟
يرى البعض أن العمل في التدريب على الفنون داخل مجتمعات اللاجئين يقع في منطقة رمادية بين العمل الاجتماعي والعمل الفني، في رأيك هل يؤثر ذلك سلباً على مسيرتك كفنان؟ وما هو رأيك في هذه الإشكالية؟

ما هو تقديرك لقدرة نقاد الفن الحاليين على فهم وتفسير وتقييم المشاريع الفنية التي لها علاقة بأوضاع اللاجئين؟ هل لديك أمثلة على أعمال نقدية تناولت مثل هذه المشاريع، وما هو رأيك فيها؟
هل تعتقد أن هناك حاجة لتطبيق معايير نقدية تختلف عن المعايير المعتادة في تناول المشاريع الفنية التي لا علاقة لها بأوضاع اللاجئين؟ وهل تتأثر المعايير الفنية بالسياق الاجتماعي الذي يعمل فيه الفنان؟
التأثير الاجتماعي والسياسي:
بشكل عام، هل ترى ضرورة أو فائدة لارتباط العمل الفني بمردود اجتماعي أو سياسي؟
هل كان الدافع الرئيس وراء اهتمامك بأوضاع اللاجئين اجتماعياً أو سياسياً؟ هل تعتقد أن المشاريع الفنية التي تهتم بأوضاع اللاجئين تحقق مردوداً اجتماعياً أو سياسياً ايجابياً؟ كيف ولماذا؟
هل تظن أن هذه المشاريع لها تأثير إيجابي على اهتمام الإعلام بأعمالك؟
هل تظن أن الانخراط في مثل هذه المشاريع يزيد من جمهورك، أم أنه يبعدك عن جمهورك المعتاد؟

In the course of the past six years, many artists got involved in artistic projects that revolve around refugees, particularly Syrian refugees. This involvement took many shapes: training, productions, artistic events, etc. On a more general level, some artists are interested in connecting their work with social or political initiatives; what are the important questions that we can draw from these experiences?
Discussion topics:
Artistic Work:
How were your artistic work and career affected by your involvement in projects targeting refugees? What kind of impact do you think this experience will have on your future as an artist, on your style, artistic tools and the content of your work?
Some people are of the opinion that arts education for refugees falls in the grey area between artistic work and social work, do you agree with this? Do you think your involvement in training work could affect your standing as an artist?
Criticism and Mediation:
In your opinion, are there art critics who are capable of conveying to audiences a critical analysis of artistic projects that tackle refugee related issues? Do you have examples of such critiques? What do you think of them?
Do you think that artistic work that tackles refugee related issues should be analyzed and assessed differently from other types of artistic work?
Social and Political Impact:
Were you motivated mainly by social and political views in your work with/on refugees? Do you believe that all artistic work on/with refugees has a positive social or political impact? How and why?
Do you think that such artistic projects make the media more interested in your work?
Do you think that your involvement with refugees increases your audiences, or would it alienate you from your normal audiences?

أسامة حلال:
بدأ الممثل والمخرج أسامة حلال مسيرته الفنية في سورية عام 1994 عبر مشاركته كمصمم رقص وراقص في عروض هيب هوب و عروض رقص في الشارع وفيديوهات موسيقية. درس في المعهد العالي للفنون المسرحية في دمشق وتخرج من قسم التمثيل عام 2004. خلال سنته الثانية في المعهد، أخرج أول عرض مسرحي في الشارع في سورية وأسس مجموعة كون المسرحية في 2002. انتقل أسامة حلال إلى بيروت في عام 2013 وأسس استوديو كون في مسرح دوار الشمس في بيروت في أيلول عام 2016. أخرج العديد من العروض المسرحية منها عروض شارع و عروض مصممة لأماكن بعينها، وعروض للمسرح الجسدي، بالإضافة إلى عروض مبنية على حكايا وأساطير. تم اختيار أسامة كأفضل مخرج في مهرجان القاهرة للمسرح التجريبي في 2009
Oussama Halal:
An actor and director who started his artistic career early in Syria, in 1994, by participating as a
dancer and a choreographer in hip-hop dance performances, street dance performances and music videos. He studied at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and graduated from the department of acting in 2004. He founded KOON THEATER GROUP in 2002, and directed the first street theater performance in Syria. Since then, he has directed several theatrical performances including street performances, site specific performances, physical-theater performances as well as performances based on legends and tales. Ossama Halal moved to Beirut in 2013 and in September 2016, he founded KOON STUDIO in The Sunflower Theater – Beirut. He was selected as “Best director” in Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater 2009.
مازن السَيد:
منتج موسيقي، رابر وكاتب من طرابلس. درس الرياضيات والعلوم الإحصائية والاقتصادية ثم اشتغل بالصحافة الورقية والإلكترونية قبل التركيز على العمل الموسيقي. صدر له إلى اليوم 4 البومات هي “كشف المحجوب”، “آدم داروين والبطريق”، “إدارة التوحش” و”الرياضة والأدب”. كما أنتج موسيقياً ألبوم الرابر السوري هاني السوّاح (الدرويش) الأول بعنوان “أرض السمك”، إضافة إلى إنتاجه مقطوعات مفردة لعدد من مؤدي الراب العرب وخاصة من منطقة بلاد الشام. يركز السيّد المعروف ب”الراس” في أعماله على الأبعاد الاجتماعية، والفكرية، والنفسية والسياسية للانتاج الفني. ويشارك في توطيد دورة إنتاج موسيقي مستقلة لا تخضع لإملاءات السوق في لبنان والمنطقة.
Mazen El Sayed;
A music producer, a rapper, and an author from Tripoli, Lebanon. Mazen El Sayed studies mathematics and statistic and economic sciences then worked in print and web journalism before focusing on music work. So far, he has worked on 4 albums; “Kashef El Mahjoub,” “Adam, Darwin wa el Batrik,” “Idaret Al Motawahesh,” and “Al Riada wa Al Adab.” He musically produced the album “Ard Al Samak” for Hani AL Sawah (Al Darwish) in addition to producing musical pieces for several rappers in the Levant. El Sayed, also known as “The Head”, focuses on the social, political, and intellectual dimensions of artistic production. El Sayed also contributes to promoting an independent music production cycle that is not subject to market dictates in Lebanon and the region.
نادين صليب:
فنانة مصرية، درست في معهد السينما في مصر وتخرجت في عام ٢٠٠٦، عملت كمساعد مخرج في كثير من الأعمال الروائية الطويلة و القصيرة منها فيلم “آخر أيام المدينة” للمخرج تامر السعيد، و فيلم “الشتا اللي فات” للمخرج ابراهيم البطوط. في عام ٢٠١٢ قامت بإخراج أول فيلم قصير “فجر” و الذي حصل على جائزة ثاني أفضل عمل في مهرجان بغداد السينمائي الدولي. شاركت نادين في كثير من الورش التدريبية مثل دربان كامبس و وورشة أيدفا. و في عام ٢٠١٤ حصل فيلمها التسجيلي الأول “أم غايب” على العديد من الجوائز منها جائزة النقاد في مهرجان أيدفا الدولي. في ٢٠١٥ قامت نادين بتدريب مجموعات من الشباب على صناعة الأفلام مع مؤسسة العمل للأمل و مؤسسة أضف.
Nadine Saleeb:
An Egyptian artist who studied cinema in the film institute in Cairo and graduated in 2006. She worked as an assistant director in many long and short narrative films including “In The Last Days Of The City” directed by Tamer Al Said and “The Past Winter” directed by Ibrahim El Batout. In 2012, she directed the movie “Dawn” which won the second best movie award at Baghdad International Film Festival. Nadine participated in several workshops including Durban Campus and IDFA workshop. In 2014, her first documentary “Um Ghayeb” won several awards including the critics award at Idfa International Festival. In 2015, Nadina conducted several film-making workshops for young people with Action for Hope organization and ADEF organization.
ياسمين مرعي:
صحفية سورية وشاعرة ولدت في حمص, سوريا. درست ياسمين مرعي اللغة العربية وآدابها في جامعة البعث (2003 – 2009), وقبل أن تغادر سورية في عام 2012 كانت تدرس ماجيستر في اللغات, في دراسة مقارنة للجذور المعجمية للَغتين العربية والسريانية. ياسمين مرعي مؤسسة ومديرة لمبادرة “نساء من أجل مساحات مشتركة” للعمل مع النساء الناطقات بالعربية في مراكز الإيواء ببرلين كما أنها تعمل مديرة تحرير لمجلة “سيدة سوريا” وهي مجلة تتناول قضايا المرأة في سورية وتصدر على الانترنت وفي نسخ مطبوعة. تنشر ياسمين مرعي مقالات وقصائد في العديد من الصحف والمواقع الالكترونية.
Yasmine Merei:
A Syrian journalist and poet who was born in Homs, Syria. Yasmine Merei studied Arabic Language literature at Baath university ( 2003 – 2009), and before leaving Syria in 2012, she was doing her Masters in Linguistics, on a comparison of the lexicographic roots of Arabic and Syriac languages. Yasmine Merei is the founder and director of “Women For a Common Space” initiative that works with Arabic-speaking women at the refugee centers in Berlin. In addition, Yasmine Merei works as a senior editor at “Saiedet Souria” magazine, which focuses on women issues in Syria and is issued online and in hard copy. Yasmine also publishes articles and poems in several newspapers and websites.

المدير التنفيذي لاتجاهات- ثقافة مستقلة. كاتب مسرحي ومبرمج ثقافي، ويعمل مدرباً مع عدد من المؤسسات الثقافية، وهو كذلك عضو مؤسس في مؤسسة اتجاهات- ثقافة مستقلة، وعضو لجنة اختيار مختبر سانداس في المنطقة العربية منذ العام 2015. شارك في تنظيم عدد من التظاهرات الثقافية الإقليمية أهمها ملتقى المختبرات المسرحية العربية “أغورا”، وملتقى “منمنمات: شهر لسوريا” بالتعاون مع جمعية شمس، وكان عضو لجنة “دراماتورجيا النص المسرحي العربي المعاصر” من تنفيذ IEVP في العام 2012. يقوم حالياً بدكتوراه في المسرح في جامعة القديس يوسف في بيروت، حاصل على ماجستير في البحث في المسرح من جامعة القديس يوسف بتقدير ممتاز ومرتبة شرف مع توصية بالنشر. وهو خريج المعهد العالي للفنون المسرحية – قسم الدراسات المسرحية في دمشق 2007.
Abdullah Alkafri:
A playwright and cultural activist, who also works as a trainer with many cultural organizations. Abdullah is a founding member and the executive director of Ettijahat- Independent Culture, and a member of the artistic committee of Sundance Institute’s MENA Theatre Lab since 2015. He co-organized “Miniatures: A Month for Syria”, in collaboration with Shams Association and “Agora: Platform for Theatre Labs” in Beirut. Abdullah graduated in Theatrical Studies from the High Institute of Dramatic Arts, Damascus, 2004 and completed his Master’s study at Saint Joseph University, Beirut, in the same field in 2015. He is currently a PhD Student at Saint Joseph University, Beirut, Lebanon.
